As a specialist in watercolor illustrations, Melissa Irene is known for her whimsical style. Her work is inspired by a blend of influences including children's art, children's book illustrations, the charm of old architecture, and the inherent beauty of nature. Through her art, Melissa aims to bring forth a sense of wonder and nostalgia. She is inspired by the works of acclaimed artists such as Grace Drayton, Mary Blair, and Retta Scott.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Arts with a concentration in Painting from Montclair State University.
